Karl Beveridge was born in 1945 in Ottawa, Canada. Carole Condé was born in 1940 in Hamilton, Canada. The collaborative duo has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London, England (1983); Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Argentina (1995); and Yukon Arts Centre, Public Gallery, Whitehorse, Canada (2017). They have also participated in multiple group exhibitions, including Survey ’69, Museé des Beaux Arts, Montreal, Canada (1969); Kunst mit Eigen-Sinn, Museum Moderner Kunst, Vienna, Austria (1985); The Whole World is Rotten..., Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2006); and Lost Horizon, Kunsthaus Dresden, Dresden, Germany (2019). Beveridge and Condé currently live and work in Toronto, Canada.
