Sara Shoghi is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist whose work seamlessly intertwines art and social activism. Holding a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Art, Media, and Design from OCAD University and a background in Illustration from the University of Tehran, Sara’s creative practice is marked by a fearless exploration of societal and political themes. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies at York University.
Sara’s multidisciplinary approach blends traditional illustration, digital media, and public art, using art as a powerful medium for social change. Her work sparks dialogues on justice, resilience, and hope, extending beyond the studio into the public realm. Through her contributions to the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement and her active participation in community engagement projects, she exemplifies how art can drive activism and inspire collective action.
